The guide and bus driver (Jan, I think?) made this trip even better. With their good mood and steady driving, the long hours between stop felt like nothing. If you add that to the beautiful scenery and fantastic stops this is a trip worth every penny. And are scared you`d forget and mix up different times and dates? - Dont worry, Finn McCool, got you covered with a truly impressive emailing system were I felt they took care of us before the trip had even started. But, the one thing that gave this a small thumbs down was the amount of waiting we had to do when we got to the very hectic Titanic museum in Belfast. The information we we`re waiting for there could have been shared rapidly by the tour guide on the bus before arriving, but except for that, this was truly amazing!
Tidlig reise fra Dublin til Galway, der vi fikk omvisning av guiden vår Richie. (Great guy!). Etter omvisning fekk vi utforske byen på egenhand, herlig liten by som virkelig gav følelsen av Irland. Avsluttet stoppet med fantastisk fish and chips på The Kings Head Bistro, virkelig fantastisk. Videre gikk turen til klippene, 2 timers stopp i fantastisk flott natur og ein utsikt(vind) som tar pusten fra deg. Videre fra klippene kjørte vi ned i da lille sentrum av byen Doolin og spiste på ein utrulig koselig bar. Alt i alt ein fantastisk opplevelse som absolutt kan gjerast igjen!
Fint at guiden jobbet med at stemningen var god under turen, men litt skjemmende med tendensiøs og billig humor på bekostning av bestemte grupper og dette kom inn imellom mye fin informasjon om historien bak det vi så. Hadde satt pris på om guiden hadde holdt seg mer til manus og ikke forsøkt så intens å være cool - hele tiden. Ikke alle turister har samme oppfatning av hva som er gøy og ikke. Det var dessuten stor aldersspredning på de reisende.
We had a lovely day trip to Northern-Ireland. Our guide Kevin and captain John were amazing hosts. Great value for the money, and a good way to explore the northern part of the Ireland when on a time limit. However, we would preferred skipping the stop by the castle and the rope bridge to get more time in Belfast. The rail walk to the Gigant’s Causeway was incredibly. Can warmly recommend Finn McCools tours and team Kevin and cap John.
Flott natur og imøtekommende mennesker. Vår hyggelige og blide bussjåfør og guide Tommy, med sin store kunnskap og fortellerglede, gjorde turen ekstra spennende og interessant. En fantastisk tur som anbefales.
